Thaanthondri Rudra Sri Shirdi Sai Baba temple is a unique healing temple of Shirdi Sai Baba, where Baba's statue self manifested, emerging from under the ground, covered in vibhuthi (sacred ash), with rudrakshas, sanjeevani roots and many other sacred items buried within. This miraculous vibhuthi has healed people from all sorts of diseases, including cancer. Baba's manifestation on the porch of her house led Kali Mataji Amma, the spiritual head of the temple, to convert her house into Baba's abode. The only other Parimalla Thoon in India, besides the one in Sri Rangam, has been installed here, accessible to all devotees. The ancient hidden powerful goddesses Ayur Devi, Shakhambhari Devi and Jyestha Devi are also worshipped here.
