The temple for Lord Sai Sunderswarar is located at Sundaram, the abode of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai at Raja Annamalaipuram in Chennai.
Sundaram, the beautiful abode of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, is truly a ‘Prashanthi Nilayam away from Prashanthi Nilayam at Puttaparthi’ for thousands of Sai devotees. Thousands throng into this heavenly abode on every Thursday and Sunday.
Sundaram was inaugurated on 19th January, 1981, and has a lotus shaped darshan hall that can hold thousands of devotees. On the stage, apart from Sri Sathya Sai Baba's picture, a huge throne and the sacred golden sandals of Sai Baba, there are statues of Ganesha, Shiva and Vishnu.
There is a Sannidhi each for Satguru Shirdi Sai Maharaj and Lord Sai Sundareswarar .
Sai Sundareswarar is a magnificent white Shiv Linga installed by Bhagawan Sathya Sai after conducting Athi Rudra Maha Yagnam .
The complex has idols of Lord Ganesha, Lord Subrahmanya , Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvathi, and the Navagrahas.
