The consecration of the temple at Sharada Vidya Kendra took place on May 8, 1992. The Sharada Vidya Kendra is a branch of the world-famous Sri Sringeri Mutt of Sringeri, Karnataka founded by HH Adi Shankara.
The deities Mahaganapathi, Adi Shankara, and Goddess Sharadhamba, made of panchaloha, were consecrated according to Vedic rites by Jagadguru HH Sri Bharati Tirtha Swami of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.
