Chiiyaram Ollukkav Saptamatrika Temple is one of the rare concept septamatrika temple in Kerala, with the centuries-old Sri Chamundidevi as the main deity, located in the scenic Chiiyaram area, 11⁄2 km west of Chiiyaram junction on the Thrissur-Eranakulam road, Kerala.

Makiryam Nakshatra in the month of Makara is celebrated here as a sacred day. On that day and on Pathamudayam, special pujas led by the temple tantri with brahma kalasha , and other special pujas are performed here on Illamnira and Navaratri days as a celebration. Apart from the last two years during the Kovid period, Navaham reading is regularly conducted under the leadership of famous yajnacharyas, Sri Ayyappan lamp, and food offering is done with the help of local people. Ashtadravya Mahaganapati Homam is also performed in the month of Karkitam as an offering to Lord Vigneshwara. On Tiruvathira day in the month of Dhanum, Athira Pooja and Tiruvathirakali are staged along with other ceremonies under the leadership of Matru Samiti. A cultural gathering and artistic programs like music and tritta-dances are held on the Nawaha closing day.

In this centuries-old temple, in the main sanctum, Mathrishala, apart from the main deity Sri Chamundidevi, the idols of Indrani, Brahmani, Vaishnavi, Maheshwari, Kaumaari, and Varahi, Sri Veerabhadra is enshrined in the north-east side of the sanctum and Sri Ganapati is enshrined in the south-east. Sri Karthyayanidevi also stands as an invisible presence in Mathrishala. Also, within the enclosure itself, Sri Vinayaka is enshrined in the southwest corner, Sri Parameswara in the northwest corner, and Sri Dharmashasta in the southwest outside the enclosure, and Naga deities are separately enshrined. On the northeast side stands the temple guardian deity.
