Originally Shri Pitambar Maharaj was from Shegaon,

and he is one the first persons alongwith Shri

Bankatlalji who have met Sant Shri Gajanan Maharaj

for the first time that is called a PRAKAT DIN, that day

onwards. He served to Maharaj for many years at

Shegaon. He was the witness of many Leelas came

from Shri Gajanan Maharaj. Later Gajanan Maharaj

decided to send Shri Pitambar Maharaj to some where

else where he can serve more to another place apart

from Shegaon, then by wondering here and there he

finally came to this land, Kondoli, now in Washim

District, where everybody was started calling him as

"Dhongi" Baba, as he convinced them by teling that

what he is, but in vain, nobody was trusting him.

Finally he started praying Sant Shri Gajanan Maharaj

Shegaon, by the grace of maharaj, a dried tree was

coming alive with the green leaves, infront of all

villagers of the Kondoli, since that day, all of them

became the followers of Shri Pitambar Maharaj.

After his sad demise his son Shri Narayan Deo

Maharaj alongwith the other followers started this

Sanstan. Later his leftover work has been carried to

the apex level by his son Shri Purushottam Maharaj.

And this process is still continued by the next

generations likes of Shri Shrikrishna Maharaj, Shri

Baban Maharaj, Shri Paresh the counting goes on and

on.
