Shri Chandrabhaga Shakti Peeth, one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Maa Sati, near the Triveni Sangam in Prabas region of Gujarat has also been mentioned in Puranas. On the triveni confluence of Kapila, Hirana and Saraswati river, near Somnath Jyotirlinga near the Shamshana land, abdominal or stomach the body part of Maa Sati is known as Goddess Chandrabhaga. To protect this form of the goddess, Vakrutund Bhairav is assigned for Her.
At present, this Shaktipeeth is located near the eastern part of the Ram temple of Somnath Trust and also near Harihar Van. The road towards temple goes from the left entrance of Shri Ram temple. There is a huge lack of information in this Shaktipeeth in Somnath region. Most of the guides do not include this temple in the local religious tourist giud/point. Therefore, devotees must be enthusiastic to see this form of Maa Sati from, help themselves.
