- Sthala PuranThe Thirukuda Nannirattu Festival was held on the twenty-sixth day of January, seventy-two years after the temple was rebuilt under the leadership of Thavatthiru Kirupananda Warrier at a cost of about ten lakhs. Niva Officer`s Office Vehicle Hall etc. were set up. On the third day of April, the Thirukuda Freshwater Festival was held again in the year one thousand nine hundred and ninety one. Then on the sixth day of the renovation, in the year two thousand and fifteen, the Thirukuda fresh water festival was held.
