Peroor Sree Krishna Swamy Temple is an ancient Hindu Temple situated near to Ambalamukku Jn in Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation.Ambalamukku Jn is 6 km from Thiruvananthapuram central Bus Stand and Railway Station en-route Kowdiar, Peroorkada, Nedumangad, Ponmudi etc.The temple is dedicated to Lord Sree Krishna and it is administered by Travancore Devaswom Board. The place Peroorkada has got that name because of the existence of this holy temple. The temple is also famous as Thekkan Guruvayoor.(The word thekkan means southern).
