According to Ramanaya Lord Sriram returned from Srilanka in Pushpaka Vimanam he saw a Bright Shivalinga then he prayed Lord Shiva and ask Lord Shiva stay here. Nearby Lord Sri Rama, Sramani named devotee performed penance for Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva appears in front of the devotee and give to her Mukti in fraction of seconds. So here the Lord Shiva called as Kshana Mukteswara Swamy.
