Sukrala Mata Shrine is situated at Billawar in district Kathua, Jammu. The site is nearly 125 kms. away from Jammu. The temple is very renowned as it is believed that it fulfills all your wishes if you wish them by a sacred and true heart. The word sukrala is derived from Shukrala. The Mata sukrala is the eldest of nine devis. I usually went there twice every year as this place is very near to my heart and i always worship the Mata Sukrala before doing anything. The place is on the top of a hill and the natural beauty is awesome. the area is very scenic. In Billawar one would visit the old Shiva temple built by Pandavas and a Hanuman Rock. Really a very nice & religious place to visit.
