The temple is situated in beautiful and peaceful surroundings facing east, on the western bank of a river connecting "Achankoil" with "Pamba". The temple is about 2.5 km east of Thiruvalla - Mavelikara PWD Road via Koikkkal junction or Puthuvilapady junction, in Kuttemperoor, Mannar Panchayath, Chengannur in Alappuzha District. The presiding deity is Sree Karthyani Amma. Other deities in the temple include Sree Ganapathy, Sree Sivan, Sree Sastha, Krishtamuni, Nagar and Brahmarashus
