The auspicious temple of lord Jagnnath one of Trinity one of the three Lords (BRAHAMA, VISNU AND MAHESHA) lord vihsnu the preserver of the universe is the main deity or chief god has been housed in th e pious garbhgriha. The temple has been built in Nagar style of architecture although the temple the temple has some characteristics of Himadri  style of architecture which is prominently adopted in the hilly region of northern Himalaya The  internal and external structure of the temple has been purely built in Nagar style (sub style Himadri). The temple of Lord Jagannath consists of mainly the three parts, which depicts  that the temple is one of  the finest example of nagar style of architecture, the temple of lord jagannath, according to  archaeology this temple has been built from the base platform to the highest point which is Spire like structure rising upwards called Shikhara which has been built over the quadrilateral rectangular walls. Although, base ( the foundational structure platform)  has not been increased too much higher comparatively to than that of the other temples built in Nagar style of architecture, yet the staires leads to the entry to the ardha mandapa (porch adjoining to the mandapa, the great hall of offerings and perfoming other rituals). The main part of the temple is garbhagriha (the womb chamber, the all deities along with the main deity idol (Mahaprabhu Jagannatha) has been housed or placed. The base structure of the garbhagriha has been built over the platform which is square in shape, and higher than the floor of mandapa (the Great Hall) and the ardha mandapa. The great pradhakshina path(circumambulatory) around the temple is rectangular in shape where as the greatest and divine pradhakshina path(circumambulatory)of the worm chamber is square in shape. The main part of the temple GrabhGrah (womb chamber) is cubical in shape holds the shikhara (The upper most part) in a linear way rising to hold the holy kalasha, made of mishra dhatus (mixed metals) having chakra (discus), wheel like structure, which is the pious mark of lord Vishnu (Mahaprabhu Bhagwan Jagnnath) also make the outer symbolical representation of being lord Vishnu’s temple. The one linear shikhara has three parts 1-Bhadrarath, (Located exactly over the GrabhGraha) which has been emerged out wards. 2- Karnratha, which is the upper part of shikhara leading to the third part Amlaka which is the broad lower part of shikhara (cliff), Although the pillars of the temple has not been made-up of the stone instead of wooden craft has been used as the pillar to erect the temple which magnifies the temple in best way. The pictures of different deities has been engraved on the wooden structured pillars and doors. The artisanship is the best depiction on the wooden timber which consists of the national emblem Ashok chakra has been engraved beautifully on the wooden mehrab (arch). Lying towards south east cardinal direction. The mehrab (arch) consists of many deities engraved on Wooden timbers used in the construction of the temple. Unlike the other temples which have been built in northern plains of India, due to the different climatical conditions instead of stones, the pious timbers of devdar (Cedar, A coniferous tree) that last longer then the other timber and considered to be the sacred tree for the auspicious temple. The Engraved designs are extremely elegant and magnificent. The wooden work in the temple consists of many deities,; Pandvas, Kuber, Laxmi, Ganesh, Durga, Nagraja, and the picture of holy creatures  remarkably. Due to have vertical and hilly land forms the temple is not to much higher, still it looks magnificent. The temple has been surrounded by the pious devdar (Cedar) tree and greenery all around the temple and blowing of pure oxygen makes the pilgrims feel divinely and composed and peaceful having reached in the auspicious place of the temple. The auspicious temple of lord Jagannath is basically constructed in nagar Style of architecture with in the himadri (Predominant in Uttarakhand) Sub style with in nagar style of architecture (the folk style of architecture in Uttarakhand, due to have most part of the time remain snow covered).
