Singhania family which owns a number of companies under its umbrella JK Organisation formed a trust known as JK Trust in 1953. The trust constructed this temple and was opened for the public in the year 1960. The temple celebrated its 50 years in 2010.

The temple is beautifully constructed and is considered to be a unique blend of ancient and modern architecture. The walls of this temple are beautiful sculptures displaying the soul of Indian culture, civilization, traditions and spirituality. Inside the temple, full attention had been taken to ensure adequate ventilation of light and air. The temple has five shrines dedicated to the Lord Radha and Krishna, Lord Lakshmi and Narayan, Lord Ardhanarishwar, Lord Narmadeshwar and Lord Hanuman. Among the five shrines, the central one is dedicated to the main deity of the temple - Shri Radhakrishna.
The temple is located on a triangular campus in an east-west direction. The temple campus is dotted with plants and trees of various varieties. There are three ponds inside the campus on the west, north and south sides of the temple. The even-level roofs or the mandapas have been provided with adequate ventilation for sufficient light and air. Among the five shrines, the central one is dedicated to the main deity of the temple - Shri Radhakrishna. Other shrines are adorned with idols of Shri Laxminarayan, Shri Ardhanarishwar, Shri Narmadeshwar and Shri Hanuman. There are several parks and a lake - Moti Jheel - located near the temple campus as well.
