- Sthala PuranThe area of military residence is called the Artillery. The British Army is known to have been here so the temple set up in this area is called the Artillery Dharmaraja Temple. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Draupadi. The temple is one of the most famous temples in the region. To the left of the shrine is a separate shrine to Krishna. Opposite this is the Anjaneyar Shrine and on the right side of the sanctum is the Ganesha Shrine . Its highlight is the construction of the new three-tiered Raja gopura.
