This excellent temple is the abode of Lord Shiva as well as Lord Narayanan!
The entrance gopuram is impressive and exquisite. It is painted white with beautiful idols on the gopuram.
As we enter the temple, the Sannidhis of the main murthis are located in two rows. The vigrahams are small in size and located in individual sannidhis.
Adjacent to this main temple is the temple for Jala Narayanan. It is this vigraham that makes this temple famous and gives the temple its name.
Lord Narayan here is on His snake bed along with His consort. The arrangement is just like the Lord residing in His heavenly abode Vaikuntam.
This is the first and only temple in India to have a Sannidhi for Lord Jala Narayanan!
